VERY OUTDATED:

TPM Training Areas

This area of the website is very outdated!

Please take advantage of the newer (and free) training resources that are available HERE.

“Process” is the ministry protocol —what we do— in every TPM ministry session.

“Principles” are the conceptual explanations for what we do and for what happens in a ministry session.

“Purpose” refers to the many practical and theological reasons for why we do TPM at all and why we learn, use, and freely share TPM.

“SUPPLEMENTS” consist of anything not addressed within the areas of the Process, Principles or Purpose.

“PRACTICE” provides training tools and exercises that correlate with the PROCESS area of study.

Welcome to Transformation Prayer Ministry (TPM)

We are excited that you have joined us on this journey!

ONE TIME THROUGH WILL NEVER DO!  Take your time in your training and learn it well. Completion of the training is not the goal, but rather competency and comprehension.  Be as sharp a tool in the hand of God as you can be!

OUTDATED:
The Principles of TPM

What you will discover in this area of study:

  • The PRINCIPLES explain why we do what we do in a ministry session.
  • The principles take the “mystery” out of the ministry session.
  • As we embrace the principles, our understanding of TPM will move beyond one of pain management, into a daily practice and lifestyle of renewing our minds with God’s truth.

Complete LEVEL ONE in all three areas (PROCESS, PRINCIPLES and PURPOSE) before moving to LEVEL TWO or THREE.

OUTDATED:
The Purpose of TPM

What you will discover in this area of study:

  • This area of study provides three levels of learning: the Refinement of Our FaithRenewing of Our Minds, and Transformation of Our Lives.
  • The PURPOSE is the “lens” through which we understand how God is using the circumstances of our lives to refine our faith, renew our minds and transform our lives.
  • The PURPOSE positions us so we may intentionally and purposefully cooperate with what God is doing.
  • The PURPOSE  is the underlying foundation for the PRINCIPLES and the PROCESS of TPM.
Complete LEVEL ONE in all three areas (PROCESS, PRINCIPLES and PURPOSE) before moving to LEVEL TWO or THREE.

Important Note: What is proposed in this Purpose section of this training is our best attempt at explaining TPM from a biblical perspective. If you find that you do not agree on all points made in this section, know that you can still effectively apply the PROCESS of TPM (the protocol for what happens in a ministry session). We encourage you to give consideration to all that is proposed, embrace what you can and hold loosely to that which you are unsure or undecided.

When applying the TPM PROCESS , follow protocol exactly as it is taught in PROCESS or please call what you are doing by another name and not Transformation Prayer Ministry.
