“… Will the new training be organized so that it’s easy to make your way though it like a class?…”
I thank God everyday for the work that you, Ed and Josh, are doing and we are praying for you both and for this ministry. Your supplemental training material is loaded with “nuggets” to help us become TPM experts, and each time I read it more is absorbed and understood.
Here in Novi, Michigan we are training both facilitators and recipients in the TPM process, and it is growing. We have several families who are learning about this as a result of one family member’s life being transformed through TPM.
We are looking forward to the full training and I am especially excited about the interactive video! What a great way to allow a beginner to safely jump in. God bless you both.
Yes, the final, finished product will be organized in an easy-to-follow path (like an online class/course). However, we will continue to make information available as we can in order to give you all a “head-start” in learning some of the new material. What is posted now is a little “random” because we are posting it as we complete it. The final training will be clear and direct. Also, what is posted now are ONLY the articles that will be ultimately become the support material for the fuller training. These articles will replace the old Basic training Manual and be the knowledge text base for deeper study. I hope this helps!
Hi Polly. The supplemental training material is well organized. I found the Study Path to be very helpful. You can find it with this link: https://www.transformationprayer.org/new-here-click-here-for-study-path/
Blessings to you Ed and Josh
We have a planned TPM training coming up in 2 weeks for 2 days.I have looked at the new material…awesome.
My question is what now…
We have done training twice a year using the 2007 method and feel confertable with it. From here we have another 6 weeks training and then another 10 weeks.
Any suggestions how we should use the map…and the old together in about 10 hours excluding live session.
We are living and training in the Middle East.
Much of the basic concepts and principles in the 2007 edition training are incorporated in the new training. However, everything is being revised and brought up to date. The older training is over nine years old and it needed to be revised — especially the process and application of the ministry itself. The new training will always be the most current since it will be freely available online. Your people should not have much difficulty making the transition since they have a good working foundation they gained from the former training. However, they will all want to take the new training in that it is MUCH clearer, precise and easier to comprehend, apply and understand.
While you wait for the final release of the new training, I would encourage you to have your team focus on the actual ministry process (the How-to-Do-It part) and learn the “MAP” or “BOXES” approach. The old version was vague and allowed way too much latitude in application. It was difficult to demonstrate in that it lack a consistent form or model. The new is clear and precise.
It was also impossible to evaluate a person doing the ministry since you could not be certain that they were actually following protocol. With the new process model it is easy to see whether your trainee is doing it right or not. Also, there are many new features that are not a part of the old model; the De-solution tool, new approach for identifying and dealing with anger, and a host of other “tools”, etc.
Until the actual training is released, focus your attention on the “MAP” and the articles that demonstrate the process, explain the questions, and give direction for doing the actual ministry. The fuller training will provide many demonstration videos, animations and white boarding, interactive activities, live sessions, and more.
Bottom line: we would suggest you NOT to use the 2007 edition of the training to teach them how to do the ministry. Use the new instructions in the articles posted now on the website for that. More will continue to be posted in the days ahead. Once we finish different parts of the main training we will post this as well. The old training has value in that many of the supporting principles are the same, but the process has changed much.
The new training will have a whole new area of information that was missing in the older version. We have come to realize that unless a person has a firm understanding of why we do this ministry then he will typically only see it as a pain management process. Until he sees the bigger picture of God at work using life’s difficulties to refine his faith, renew his minds and transform us, he will not likely become a “lifer” in TPM making it a lifestyle as opposed to a way to make the pain go away. Pain is our friend and the primary tool that God uses to expose each of us so we might position ourselves for gaining real freedom.
Thank you for your dedication to equip the body of Christ to minister to the body and making this available for free. We are thrilled to see the advancements in areas and simplification of the whole process. We appreciate all your hard work and effort!!! We are praying that many will seed into this necessary ministry to enable Christians all over the world to walk in freedom. That you will have more than enough for this endeavor.
Dear Ed and Josh,
Thank you so much for all your effort that you both have put forth to make this material free to us and the world. May He bring to pass the desires of your (our) hearts!
I have studied this since 2009, but I must admit that I had reservations. After going to the December training in Ft Myers, practicing since and following the protocol exactly, I get it! God is so good and faithful!
I’m so excited to begin studying this because I have experienced
Transformational healing through
it. (Athens School of Ministry)
I’m Catholic, and would love to bring this ministry into my parish.
We rejoice in your freedom. Catholics make up one of the largest groups using TPM in the world today. It has been very well received by them.
