An Allegorical Tale

At first glance, this may seem like a whimsical children’s tale, but don’t be fooled. It is a journey into spiritual truth—clothed in allegory.

Written in the tradition of The Pilgrim’s Progress and The Chronicles of Narnia, The Island of Belief book series is more than a collection of adventure stories.

Beneath its surface lies a deeper exploration of faith, spiritual identity, and transformation.

These stories will expose and explore many of the beliefs that shape how we see God, ourselves, and the world around us.

Foundational Principles

This first installment in the Island of Belief series explores several foundational principles, chief among them: “We perceive whatever we believe.”

Future titles will continue the journey, bringing other truths into clearer view—truths about the emotions we feel, the choices we make, and the beliefs we hold in our hearts.

Even though this series is not considered a part of the Transformation Prayer Ministry training, it is written with the fundamental principles of TPM in mind (making it a great way to introduce new people to these concepts).

Is this book Series for you?

The Island of Belief book series is more than a collection of simple stories meant to entertain. It brings to life principles and truths for those who are no longer satisfied with typical explanations for questions like:

Why is it so hard to live out what I know is true?

Why don’t certain Biblical truths seem or feel true to me?

Is faith a choice, a feeling, an action, or something else entirely?

Is there a greater purpose behind life’s difficulties?

Why do I sometimes feel close to God—and other times completely distant?

Why don’t I see myself the way God says I am?

What does it look like to genuinely trust God in difficult moments?

Why do I sometimes assume the worst about the motives and intentions of others?

Why do I react so strongly in certain situations?

Why do some of my behaviors feel automatic or out of my control?

Can I trust what I feel, or are my feelings misleading me?

Why do I sometimes feel like I’m just going through the motions in my faith?

What does it look like to respond to difficulty the way God intends?

Why do I sometimes feel stuck in my spiritual journey, even though I want to move forward?

Are we expected to “rejoice always,” even when we don’t feel joyful?

Why do I sometimes struggle to forgive those who have wronged me?

What does genuine Christian obedience look like?

Throughout the Island of Belief series, you will encounter foundational truths that speak directly to questions like these—truths that reshape how we understand belief, perception, and our experience with God.
